Friends of Sahil, volunteers and staff prepared a play just before the Covid 19 pandemic, covering three main aspects that are common within the South Asian communities but not spoken about or shared openly; domestic violence, vulnerable elderly bereaved and mistreated within family, and mental health. See picture video clips of the play, that captured 450 attendees and feedback received was excellent, as it touched the audience, many of them came to the performers and shared that they have seen these issues within their own families and friends but are hidden, which was great to see our reaching out got people talking about it!.
