Sahil is shinning and rising everyday with all the efforts of our hardworking team. One of the achievements was Nuneaton Project, this project was launched on 27/09/2021 funded by Warwickshire County council for Mental Wellbeing Resilience Fund.
The success of this project was very rapid, in first quarter we reached to 30 people and in a year more than 65. We deliver emotional support and well-being to vulnerable adults within the locals’ communities, with priority given to reducing isolation and loneliness. We also offer in house therapeutic counselling; this project has seen many vulnerable adults who improved not only their mental well-being but also gained confidence to move forward in their life.
Nuneaton project is quite busy in building creative minds of all age groups by running free Arts and Crafts session where you can paint your little world with your own favourite colour and there are no limits to your imagination & beautiful thoughts.
Also, we have a group of ladies who are always busy creating wonders with their fingers and needles by doing crochet/knitting.
We do Chair Based Exercise as well for Physical Fitness as “Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.”
Last but not the least we run sessions of Meditation and yoga which is the utmost priority in this busy world to bring peace, mentally as well as spiritually.
We also did celebration to cherish our great success on 29th April 2022. It was honour to have Mayor Councillor Robert Tromans as our chief guest including other professionals i.e., social prescribers, Warwickshire county council, Bedworth & Nuneaton Council and NHS. This event was attended by more than 72 people including our volunteers and service users. Not only this we also did event on 1st July called Showcasing Sahil by Warwickshire County Council where the overview of all the sessions of the project was recorded.
Within a year we have trained 15 volunteers and done following trainings-
Dementia Awareness
Fitness Awareness Training
Inner wellness training Workshop
Positive Change Seminar
